July 31 - The Shop Around the Corner (1940, NR)
Alfred Kralik (James Stewart) and Klara Novak (Margaret Sullavan) constantly irritate each other, but this daily aggravation is tempered by the fact that each has a secret pen pal with whom they trade long, soul-searching letters. This film was the inspiration for You’ve Got Mail.
